Cllr Waseem Zaffar Awarded MBE in Queen’s Birthday Honours List 2012

Councillor Waseem Zaffar who represents the Lozells & East Handsworth Ward in Birmingham UK has been awarded an MBE (Member of British Empire) for services to the voluntary sector in Birmingham.

He is also a Justice of Peace at Birmingham Magistrates Court and was recently elected Chairman of the O&S Committee for Social Cohesion & Community Safety.

Waseem’s family originate from the Village of Thub Jagir in Dadyal, AJK. He is the nephew of Raja Kamal Khan and cousin of Raja Noman Kamal.
